Liv and Kicker got married in her grandfather's backyard. A place that means a lot to them both. Their backyard borders a big field filled with horses that stretches to the bank of the Provo river as it runs parallel to the Wasatch Back mountains.
Liv wrote me in her inquiry that "My nightmare is taking posed photos with Kick for an hour+ while my friends and family enjoy the evening without us, so I love your approach to photography". And that's exactly what we avoided. We spent a short amount of time before everyone arrived walking around the property and snapping photos of just them being together, like a deep breath before everything got busy. But as soon as everyone started arriving Kicker looked at me and said "okay no offense but now I'm gonna pretend you're not here" and then I became their personal fly on the wall.
Only 50 guests, a hand crocheted dress, married under a willow tree, homemade cakes with lemon's all the way from their grandmothers home in California, talking for hours, and ending the night with twinkle lights in the trees & camping with all their loved ones.
It was truly the most intentional, sweet, intimate day I have ever had the blessing to be a part of.
