ANTELOPE ISLAND ELOPEMENT | gavin + Paiton

Antelope Island is one of the prettiest hidden gems in Utah. I love this little island from the very bottom of my heart.

As you cross the causeway to reach the island, you'll be blown away by the panoramic views of the Great Salt Lake. There's so much to experience there; rolling hills, beaches, salt flats, iconic rock formations, So much! It's truly the perfect setting for a romantic and intimate elopement. It reminds me so much of Iceland.

Along with the island's natural beauty, couples will also be surrounded by its insane wildlife. As the name suggests, Antelope Island is home to a herd of pronghorn antelope, as well as bison, mule deer, and a variety of bird species. Can you imagine saying your vows with these magical creatures as your witnesses?

Choosing the Perfect Spot:
There are so many beautiful options to choose from!
Buffalo Point provides an awe-inspiring view of the lake and the mountains, while White Rock Bay offers a serene and romantic atmosphere with its sandy shores. Lady Finger Point presents an otherworldly landscape, where the salt waters and sculpted rocks form a surreal backdrop. Whatever your preference, you'll find a spot that resonates with your love story.

Privacy:
One of the very best advantages of eloping at Antelope Island is the intimacy it offers. With a small guest list or even just the two of you, you can focus on each other without distractions. There are rarely crowds and so much space to ensure you'll be secluded from everyone else. Which will make for the perfect elopement experience.

Legalities and Permits:
Before planning your elopement at Antelope Island, familiarize yourself with the legal requirements and permits needed for the ceremony. Obtaining a marriage license from any county clerk's office in Utah is essential, and you may need to secure a permit from the park authorities, depending on the size of your gathering.
